Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 3 days per week, full-time schedule
  • Weekend requirement : Yes
  • On-call requirement : No
  • Float to other locations as needed to help fill shifts due to time off or call-ins
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or approved equivalent required
  • 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
  • Basic computer experience required
  • New Mexico state licensure required
  • DMS by MIRTP NMED required
  • BLS certification required via AHA
  • Must obtain one of the following within 1 year of hire : Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, or Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB / GYN) RDMS by ARDMS
  • Preferred additional certifications : Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures
  • Handle movement, set-up, and operation of medical ultrasound equipment
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
  • Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
  • Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
  • Maintain appropriate behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, and professionalism
