Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

Our favorite Southern California electrical contractor is growing, has an awesome pipeline of new projects, and has a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join their team.

• Develop comprehensive project plans specific to electrical systems, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Define project goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, considering electrical codes and standards.
• Lead and motivate project teams, including electrical superintendents, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Monitor electrical project costs and financial performance against budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for electrical installations, ensuring critical milestones are met.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to project specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, general contractors, and other key stakeholders regarding electrical aspects.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all project sites, with particular emphasis on electrical safety protocols.
• Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress, financial status, and forecasts, with an emphasis on electrical scope.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, electrical drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
