Job description

Job Title : Pathologists' Assistant (ASCP Certified)

Location : Charlotte, NC

Position Type : Full-Time (Day Shift)

We are seeking a dedicated Pathologists' Assistant (ASCP Certified) to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This day shift position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality pathology services in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist pathologists in the examination and diagnosis of tissue specimens.
  • Perform gross descriptions and dissections of specimens.
  • Prepare specimens for microscopic examination and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications :

  • ASCP certification as a Pathologists' Assistant.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Previous experience in a pathology setting is preferred.
