Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a critical need ICU position in California requiring a current CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
  • Night shift position from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
  • Care for critically ill adult patients in a high-acuity environment
  • Utilizes EPIC EMR system
  • Duties include delivering advanced nursing care to critical care patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members
  • Assignment is open to both local and travel nurses at the same rate
  • Compliance with hospital vaccination and health requirements is necessary
  • All licenses and certifications must be active at time of application
  • Assignment subject to hospital tenure policy regarding maximum duration of contract and required breaks

  • Active CA RN license required at time of application
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time recent ICU nursing experience within the last 3 years
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
  • NIH Stroke Scale and CCRN certification preferred
  • Dialysis and SLED experience preferred
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
