Lead Business Accountability Specialist

Wells Fargo Finance is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist to support the Finance Regulatory Risk Program team within the Finance Business Management Office (BMO). This role is responsible for supporting several governance programs like Enterprise Limits Monitoring (ELM), Privacy and Regulatory Change Management. Additionally, the Consultant will be responsible for effectively managing day-to-day compliance risk requirements in partnership with SME leads across the Finance businesses.

In this role, you will :

• Establish and execute processes, controls and monitoring to ensure Finance Businesses adhere to compliance requirements for aligned governance programs
• Support Compliance policy implementation activities, including gap assessments, filing for extensions or exceptions where warranted, and development or update of Finance procedures based on new policy requirements
• Participate in metric development and / or oversight based on aligned governance programs
• Perform risk and control identification, assessments, and self-assurance activities as needed
• Develop artifacts like training, strategic plans, issue summaries and other analysis documents required by policy
• Support regulatory relations & audit coordination within aligned governance programs to ensure a proactive, strategic, coordinated, comprehensive, and consistent approach to those interactions as outlined in the Risk Management Framework
• Create and execute on SHRP issues, as needed, including completion of corrective actions and providing issue updates
• Participate in large scale strategic initiatives, like Move the Line activities, as needed
• Collaborate and consult with representatives from the Finance businesses, Compliance Officers, and Finance Control Partners
• Identify and escalate any risk that arises from governance and oversight role while maintaining a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency
