Radiology Interventional physician employment in Oklahoma : Locum Tenens Interventional RadiologistLocation : Oklahoma City, OklahomaLicense : Active OK License or IMLC AcceptedFellowship Required : Vascular & Interventional RadiologyBoard Status : Board Certified (VIR) Required Key DetailsAvailability / Contract Dates

  • Clinic + Call
  • Call Type : Beeper
  • Call Response Time : 30 minutes
  • Call Ratio : Q4

Clinical Expectations

  • Procedures per Day : 810
  • Examples of Procedures :

    • Fine Needle Aspiration

  • Bone Marrow Biopsy & Aspiration
  • Paracentesis
  • Thoracentesis
  • Core Needle Biopsy Lung / Mediastinum
  • Liver Biopsy
  • Intro Cath Dialysis
  • Flow Cytometry
  • Tunneled Central Line w / SubQ Port Placement
  • IR Injections
  • EMR : Epic
  • Trauma Level : III

    • Required Credentials & Experience

  • Active OK License or IMLC
  • ACLS
  • Completion of ACGME / AOA Diagnostic Radiology Residency
  • Completion of Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship
  • Board Certified in VIR
  • Clean NPDB
  • Required Recent Experience : At least 300 VIR procedures in the past 12 months

  • Fully trained and certified Interventional Radiologist
  • Able to start quickly (urgent opening)
  • Capable of performing a full range of IR procedures independently
  • Comfortable with clinic + call responsibilities
