Job Description :
Reporting to the IT Supervisor, this position provides end user support for roughly 140 users running Windows 10 and 11, MS Office and various graphics applications including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD and Revit. He / she ensures the smooth operation and stability of the firm's local and cloud-based IT infrastructure.
A good understanding of PC hardware, principles of networking and the ability to adapt to new applications is needed.
Responsibilities Include :
- Provide support for roughly 140 users on Windows 10 and 11 workstations and laptops
- Diagnose and repair PC hardware
- Support and troubleshoot MS Office and various graphic applications
- Provide end user training, as needed, in the use of computers, applications, hardware, and security practices
- Support, maintain and troubleshooting printers
- Manage users in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Manage Microsoft Teams phones and conferencing audio / video technology
- Perform IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Collaborate with the managed service providers to address desktops and laptops issues
Qualifications :
Minimum 8 years of related experienceKnowledge of MS Windows, Linux, and mobile devicesExperience troubleshooting and supporting AutoCAD and RevitSkilled in using remote desktop support tools and ticketing systemsKnowledge of IT security practices and familiarity with cybersecurity principlesDocumentation skills, including creating and updating technical guidesStrong diagnostic skillsStrong people skillsAble to troubleshoot applications you have not been exposed to beforeExperience in managing vendor relationships and coordinating warranty servicesAble to lift 50 lbs.Able to multitaskAvailability for after-hours support and on-call dutiesProfessional attire a mustMust have a "can do" attitude and must be flexible with working hoursPreferred but not Required :
