We are currently looking for a Technical Program manager to join our team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead multiple large projects simultaneously, build strong relationships with our customers, direct and set the pace for our internal teams, be highly proficient in managing plans, scope, and budget. Our ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make an impact in homeland security, be used to working in a fast paced, complex work environment, and adapt to change well.
This is a Full-Time, On-Site role in our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA. You MUST be a US Citizen and be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Role Responsibilities :
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of solutions to our customers. You will have budgetary responsibility as well as serve as the primary point of contact and communication with internal stakeholders and customers for project status, action items, risks, financials, and next steps.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Responsible for working in a cross functional team to deliver solutions including development, engineering, QA, leadership, sales, and operations.
- Work with finance and contracting to ensure budgetary compliance, project status dashboards, and deliverables in line with contract requirements.
- Leading internal and external program meetings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on project initiatives
- Create, develop, manage project / program scope, schedules, and budget to ensure milestones are met for the programs
- Manage opportunities and mitigate risk across programs with quantified impacts
Desired Experience :
Ten (10) years of project management experience in software & hardware developmentWorking on federally funded programs is a huge plusExperience with leading multiple fast-paced, technical projects directly with full budget / finance responsibility, external communication with customers including ownership of status, action items, risks, and next stepsExtremely strong customer centric growth mindset with the ability to foster relationships quicklyExperience collaborating across cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure project successExperience working closely with finance and contracting to develop and maintain program budget, status dashboards, and deliverables in line with contract requirementsDemonstrate exceptional communication skillsComfortable with a high degree of ambiguityProven change management skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands, must be a very organized individualAbility to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgencyDesired Skills / Certifications :
PMP CertificationExperience in working with geographically dispersed teamsExperience with Jira, Confluence, MS ProjectAt least five (5) years of experience leading technical teams and / or managing software and hardware developers preferredQualifications :
