Accounts Payable Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a permanent onsite role in Seattle, WA. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle AP process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports. Responsibilities :
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
- Manage the weekly and monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and files
- Review and code invoices to appropriate accounts and cost centers
- Assist employees with expense reimbursements and corporate credit card reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing AP accruals and reconciliations
- Respond to vendor inquiries and build strong vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives within AP
Qualifications :
2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experienceHigh school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferredProficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsAbility to handle a high volume of transactions and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal team interactionsExperience in a corporate or multi-entity environment a plusLHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
