Job description

Our client is currently seeking a SANITATION SUPERVISOR for their food manufacturing facility near Colonial Heights, TN

  • Day shift

The Sanitation Supervisor will oversee plant cleanliness and support food safety initiatives. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role ensures compliance with sanitation standards, supports production needs, and maintains a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate SSOPs
  • Conduct pre-op inspections and ensure regulatory compliance (USDA, FDA, etc.)
  • Train staff on GMPs, sanitation procedures, and food safety policies
  • Coordinate cleaning activities across departments
  • Support audits and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain sanitation documentation, supplies, and certifications

    • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sanitation experience in food production
  • Night shift availability
  • Strong communication and computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with sanitation equipment and chemicals
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
