About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Program Management to spearhead the delivery of large-scale projects related to space vehicles, ground stations, constellation management, and mission operations. In this strategic role, you will collaborate with a talented multidisciplinary team to ensure successful execution of both company and client contractual obligations. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive program plans and metrics, interfacing with customers, and overseeing the daily operations of program managers.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting all program reviews, managing personnel, and driving continuous improvements in technology and processes. A solid background in the aerospace industry, particularly in high-tech systems, is crucial, along with experience in program finance, contracts, and relevant business law.

Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical area (a Master’s degree is a plus) and have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry or comparable field. The role requires expertise in the development of space and mission payloads and a network of relationships with primes and subcontractors within this domain. A proven track record in managing large government, defense, or commercial programs is essential, as well as a capability to oversee and mentor teams.

You must have proficiency in both technical and financial elements of program management, with a strong ability to convey complex technical ideas across various organizational levels. Familiarity with US trade regulations and ITAR regulations is necessary, and the selected candidate may be required to obtain or maintain a TS / SCI security clearance.
