Ophthalmologist Needed in North Carolina

Seeking a BC Ophthalmologist to help provide with call coverage in major city in North Carolina!

Coverage Need :

September 17, 8AM - September 24, 8AM

Provider will need to come in the day before scheduled for orientation.

Potential for ongoing coverage.

Details :

• Will need to evaluate all hospital and ED consults, including evaluation and surgical treatment of trauma
• Inpatient and outpatient only
• 24-call
• Provider must be within 20 minutes within ECU Health Medical Center while on call
• EPIC trained preferred
• Anticipated volumes / day : 5-8
• Average patients / provider : 5-6
• Provider will not respond to codes
• No ICU / Critical Care duties
• List of required procedures : repair ruptured globe, repair eyelid lacerations, remove corneal foreign body
