Job Title : General Production Worker

2nd Shift : 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Bakery Workers. These roles go beyond simple packing tasks, as employees will assist operators across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Inventory : Supply raw materials, move finished products, maintain accurate counts, and manage packaging material inventory.
• Production Support : Work in packaging, processing, or mixing with daily assignment changes; operate equipment including grinders and tape machines.
• Cleanliness & Safety : Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; comply with GMP requirements and company policies.
• Documentation & Compliance : Complete paperwork accurately and timely; prepare skid tags and documentation; perform SPC data entry and quality / food safety testing.
• Warehouse Coordination : Return unused packaging materials properly; transport finished goods to the warehouse; manage lot tracking with scanners.
• Equipment Operation : Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) with valid certification; perform machine setup and cleaning; submit work orders as needed.
• Support & Training : Provide backup in scaling, mixing, and equipment operation; assist in training new workers.
• Math & Reporting : Perform simple calculations, read spec / formula sheets, maintain correct date codes, and report scrap weights.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50 / hr.
