Omni Wound Physicians is rapidly expanding and hiring Clinical Education Managers (LPNs) to support wound care excellence, provider onboarding, and compliance coaching across multiple states. This role is ideal for wound care nurses, SNF educators, or LPNs with documentation experience who want to help build clinical excellence from the front lines—through audits, training, and education.
About the Role
The Clinical Education Manager (LPN) / Client Liaison plays a critical dual role—delivering high-impact documentation training and serving as a trusted field liaison to partner SNFs and home health agencies. You will help support onboarding and quality assurance for physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), and wound care teams, ensuring our providers and partners are aligned with CMS, DOH, and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Training & Onboarding
Deliver wound care documentation training on staging, measurements, photography, and narratives
Lead in-person onboarding and shadowing for new mobile providers (MDs, DOs, NPs)
Conduct in-services, mock audits, and charting labs at partner sites
Align training with CMS and Washington DOH documentation expectations
Focus on F-tag compliance (e.g., F684, F686, F657, F838 / F865)
Audit & Documentation Coaching
Review clinical documentation (Wound Reports, Skin Sweeps, GT Sweeps) for accuracy and compliance
Identify risk areas and support remediation following audits or survey deficiencies
Help facilities prepare for surveys and state / federal inspections
Contribute to QAPI initiatives through audit data and staff coaching
Client Relationship Support
Serve as the field-facing representative for assigned SNFs and agency partners
Support clinical directors, DONs, and wound nurses in achieving compliance and quality
Maintain proactive communication and escalate service or documentation concerns internally
Reinforce Omni Wound Physicians' commitment to clinical quality and partnership
Required Knowledge & Skills
Clinical Knowledge
Deep understanding of wound care workflows in SNF or LTC settings
Working knowledge of CMS survey process and Washington DOH documentation standards
Awareness of how clinical documentation affects F-tag compliance and reimbursement
Understanding of HIPAA, PHI protections, and safe clinical practice in mobile roles
Technical Skills
Proficient in EMR platforms (e.g., PointClickCare, MatrixCare)
Confident with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Slides)
Experience using communication platforms like Slack for field coordination
Ability to type 45–60 WPM and use mobile tech for documentation reviews and reporting
Mobility & Driving
Valid Washington driver's license and clean MVR
Reliable personal vehicle with insurance
Willingness to travel regularly within a 50-mile service radius
Able to carry training materials and navigate SNFs / home health settings independently
Minimum Qualifications
Active, unrestricted LPN license in Washington (or in MA, NJ, NV, SD, or MT if applying in another market)
3+ years of wound care experience in SNF, LTC, or home health settings
1+ year in clinical education, documentation coaching, onboarding, or compliance
Exceptional communication, training delivery, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working independently in a mobile, field-based role
Preferred :
Wound care certification (WCC, WOCN, CWS)
Survey prep or QAPI experience
Experience supporting clinical hiring, training, or credentialing for NPs, PAs, or MDs
Position Details
Part-time, hourly (1–3 shifts / week based on operational needs)
Potential to expand into a full-time role as regional programs and provider teams grow
Field-based with occasional administrative flexibility (not a remote position)
Schedule may include occasional weekends or evenings during onboarding cycles or surveys
