Position Summary

We're looking for an IT Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills, an interest in systems and troubleshooting, and a passion for improving operational efficiency. The IT Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact between our staff and external IT vendors, assist in maintaining hardware and software systems, and provide day-to-day technical support to team members.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Respond to and resolve IT requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment.

Systems Administration & Maintenance

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across systems and platforms.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Project Support & Coordination

  • Assist with planning and implementing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners for IT-related purchases, service calls, and support contracts.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking.
  • Process & Documentation

  • Work with stakeholders to define clear deliverables, streamline IT processes / procedures, and align priorities.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring IT tasks and support functions.
  • Maintain records of configurations, licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
  • Security & Compliance

  • Support IT security initiatives including antivirus, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention measures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

  • Provide occasional backup support to other departments as needed.
  • Take on special projects or responsibilities to support business needs.
  • Qualifications

  • Current internal employee in good standing.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and interest in IT systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and coordinating with third parties.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Admin Center and Entra (Azure Active Directory) — this is a must-have requirement.
  • Ability to manage and set multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior informal IT support experience (preferred but not required).

    Compensation : Starting at $25.00 Hourly
