Job Details & Day-to-Day

This role is primarily for a PET / CT Tech in a Nuclear Medicine department. The unit accepts first-time travelers and maintains a 1 : 1 patient ratio during the day shift.

Primary Focus : Must have PET / CT experience, as this is primarily a PET tech role.

Core Procedures :

PET Scan (Limited / Whole Body) and Tumor Localization.

Comprehensive Nuc Med : Bone Scans (3 Phase, Whole Body), Renal Flow, Lung Scan (Perfusion / Ventilation), HIDA Scan, Gastric Emptying, and SPECT imaging.

Professional Skills : Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and Maintaining IVs, and Handling / Disposal of Radioactive Materials.

Equipment : Experience with Phillips and Siemens equipment.

Call / Weekends : No weekends required. No call required.

Floating : Required within the facility / scope of practice as needed.

Charting System : Epic (Preferred).
