Chief Financial Officer - Restaurants

Position Summary:

• We are seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer to lead and execute the financial strategy of our growing business.
• This role is ideal for a finance executive who thrives in a hands-on environment, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and can manage and develop a lean finance and accounting team.
• The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, controls, and compliance while ensuring operational excellence in day-to-day accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute all finance and accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, and reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements and key performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow models Establish and maintain internal controls and processes for accuracy and efficiency Manage banking relationships, covenant compliance, and investor/lender reporting Provide financial insight and decision support to the CEO and leadership team Build and mentor a high-performing, nimble finance/accounting team Lead audit and tax preparation activities Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a hands-on or small/mid-size company environment Comfortable working at both strategic and tactical levels Experience in private equity or high-growth companies a plus Strong financial modeling, systems, and analytical skills Proven ability to build scalable processes and drive financial discipline Powered by JazzHR
