About The Position

ID : 73644814 Shift : 1800-0630 3x12 Hr Description : Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.Job Summary : -Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and / or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and / or ventilatory support.Shift Details : -Varied shifts.-Weekends / Holidays required.-Floating required - may need to support PresNow (UC / ED) locations.-May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.-On call, weekends, and holidays required.-Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.-Traveling pairs are NOT guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.-Position will float to other areas as needed.-This is a 13-week contract assignment.Skills : Required Skills & Experience : -Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment.-At least one 13 week previous travel assignment.-Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.Preferred Skills & Experience : -EPIC experience; can train on-site.Education : Required Education : -High School Diploma or GED. -Complete an accredited respiratory care education program from a school approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). Preferred Education : -N / ARequired Certifications & Licensure : -New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License. -BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross .-ACLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.-PALS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.-NRP certification .Preferred Certifications & Licensure : -N / AJob Category : Clinical - Allied Guaranteed Hours : 36.00 Contract Weeks : 89
