Loss Prevention Officer
The Loss Prevention Officer will monitor Farouk Systems, Inc. property to identify potential loss prevention concerns or issues. This position serves in a security function for the company.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Monitor cameras for activities taking place at Farouk Systems, Inc.
- Walk the warehouse at least once every hour to provide visibility and assess activity first hand.
- Serve as "First Responder" in any incidents, accidents or injuries. Work with supervisor and Safety department as needed.
- Prepare and submit daily security reports to supervisor.
- Monitor all employees and guests as they enter and leave Farouk Systems, Inc.
- Support supervisor with miscellaneous projects as requested (phone calls, research, contacting vendors, etc.)
- Serve as third "on call" contact for afterhours alarms.
- Enforce security and company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience in the military, Loss Prevention or another security functionPC literatePhysical Skills & Abilities :
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to walk for long periods of time on different types of terrain.Ability to withstand brief periods of exposure to the elements- heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, etc.Must be able to regularly lift and / or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and / or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.Ability to operate security cameras and other monitoring equipment.Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and employees.Must be able to work with a flexible schedule.Good personality but firm on the following of all policies and procedures.
