Melville, NY Law firm is seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant with 3+ years experience in Labor & Employment Law or Litigation. The ideal candidate is smart, highly motivated, has excellent attention to detail, a self-starter, a strong work ethic and is looking to be part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced working environment.
Qualifications : Experience in NetDocs, TABs, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Westlaw, Electronic Court Filings and Discovery
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal administrative role, preferably in Labor & Employment Law or Litigation.
- Proficiency in document management tools such as NetDocs and legal research platforms like Westlaw.
- Demonstrated ability to handle electronic court filings and discovery processes independently.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing legal calendars and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in preparing legal documents and correspondence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
