Job Details – Albuquerque Nursing Jobs Location : Albuquerque, NM 87106 Healthcare Setting : Level I Trauma Center, Children's Hospital, Teaching Hospital, Acute Care Contract Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shifts : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours / week available) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1840 Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Unit : Emergency Department (ED Holding and Trauma areas as needed) Parking : Free on-site parking Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience; Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers with 2 years Level I Trauma experience may be considered Active New Mexico RN license (can be pending at time of submission) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to submission), NIHSS (can be pending) No local candidates within 75 miles of facility COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted with documentation) Experience with Cerner charting system preferred Personal transportation required ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department Administer medications, including IV medications, following safety protocols Accurately document and communicate clinical findings Perform triage, trauma / resuscitation, and manage patients with complex diagnoses (neuro-trauma, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, STEMI, stroke, traumatic brain injury) Float to ED Holding, Adult PCUs, and Trauma areas as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services) Maintain compliance with facility policies and complete required orientation and annual modules Experience the best of New Mexico healthcare jobs in Albuquerque—a city known for outdoor recreation, arts, and culinary delights.
