Abatement Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced  Asbestos Supervisor (Certification Required)  to join one of the top abatement firms in the US. This is a chance to work for a company with decades of success, a strong safety record, and steady growth in abatement and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise asbestos abatement crews and ensure work is completed safely and per OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.

Oversee site setup, including containment, negative air systems, and waste handling.

Conduct inspections, ensure PPE compliance, and monitor project progress.

Lead daily safety talks, enforce company safety policies, and document any incidents.

Maintain daily logs, air monitoring results, and waste manifests.

Communicate with project managers, clients, and regulators on project status and compliance.

Train and mentor crew members on safety and compliance.

Manage tools, supplies, and equipment for cost efficiency.

Qualifications

5+ years of asbestos abatement or environmental remediation experience.

Current  EPA AHERA Asbestos Contractor / Supervisor Certification  (40-hour) and annual 8-hour refresher.

Knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry best practices.

Experience supervising crews and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including respirator use.

Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S.
