Join our client, a leading national real estate firm specializing in medical office buildings across 25+ states. We are looking for an experienced and self-directed Maintenance Engineer to manage the technical operations of a key downtown Boston property.

This role offers a unique mix : the stability and resources of a large organization combined with the entrepreneurial autonomy of a local team. Engineers are trusted to manage their sites independently, make critical decisions, and take real ownership of their buildings.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the efficient, reliable operation of all building systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for tenants.

• System Maintenance : Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety infrastructure .
• Building Operations : Operate and monitor the Building Automation System (BAS) and building control systems.
• Troubleshooting & Vendor Management : Quickly troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and efficiently coordinate repairs with vendors and tenants.
• Compliance & Records : Maintain accurate maintenance records, complete work orders promptly, and ensure compliance with all local codes and safety regulations.
