D&J Construction Company, a leading highway construction contractor in northeast Louisiana, is seeking motivated and dependable Crew Laborers for asphalt highway construction projects. Prior experience is preferred but not requiredwe provide on-the-job training for candidates committed to developing their skills in the construction industry.

Position Overview : The Highway Construction Crew Laborer performs a variety of manual tasks involved in highway construction, including preparing job sites, handling equipment and materials, and supporting paving operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform general construction-related labor tasks across all phases of highway construction.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain construction job sites.
• Safely use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and brooms.
• Operate power tools (jackhammers, earth tampers, pavement breakers) under supervision.
• Assist with traffic control and safety procedures as needed.
