Banner Childrens Specialists (BCS)  is seeking a full time Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Surgeon to join our growing program in the Phoenix Metro Area with a pediatric population of 350,000+. We are seeking a candidate who will provide a wide range of surgical care for premature newborns to 18-year-old adolescents at Banner Desert Medical Center (BDMC) in Mesa, AZ. Procedures include the full scope of laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, robotic, and open surgeries in the cervical, thoracic, and abdominal regions addressing the diseases of the respiratory, digestive, biliary, genitourinary, and dermatologic systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in working in a high-volume environment with several index cases. Our Pediatric Surgery team currently consists of two Pediatric Surgeons and seven Advanced Practice Providers working closely with other Pediatric Subspecialties such as Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Neurosurgery, Hematology / Oncology, and Cardiology.

Position Details :

• Leadership Opportunity for those qualified (.9 FTE Clinical / .1 FTE Leadership).
• Outpatient Clinic 2 days / week
• 7 shifts of call per month, to include one weekend
• Full range of Pediatric Subspecialties to work with
• Strong organizational support
• Robotic surgery capability on campus
