Implementation Project Director
The Larner College of Medicine (LCOM) at the University of Vermont seeks an Implementation Project Director responsible for overseeing all implementation aspects of the enterprise-wide initiatives carried out under the auspices of the Dean's Office. This includes but is not limited to new initiatives, LCME re-accreditation, strategic realignments, implementation of new programming, and strengthening of existing programming through strategic integration. The Implementation Program Director will manage a complex, multi-project portfolio and play a key role leading the Larner College of Medicine by managing all phases of implementation related to assigned initiatives. This will include continued support of the OnCore Clinical Trials Management platform rollout and the Research Enclave initiative. Report directly to the LCOM Senior Associate Dean for Research. Work closely with steering committees and task forces comprised of key stakeholders who play key roles in LCOM and the UVM Health Network.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) : Masters Degree or higher in clinical care and / or research. And at least 6 years of experience : - working in a complex academic environment that includes clinical, research, and educational activities; experience as a clinical research coordinator, principal investigator or regulatory official. - leading implementation of confidential and high-level projects and initiatives being implemented across the enterprise, including but not limited to clinical trial management, patient accrual, research administration, educational program delivery, LCME accreditation, management and budgeting. - managing multiple, large scale implementation projects.
Desirable Qualifications : - Current Project Management Institute (PMI) certification. - Experience in an academic and biomedical environment.
Anticipated Pay Range : $120,000-135,000
Special Conditions : Background Check required for this position, A probationary period may be required, This position is eligible for full-time telework in accordance with the university telecommuting policy.
