Location : Cable Dahmer of Kansas City

Full-Time including Saturdays

Job Summary :

The Assistant Service Manager supports the Service Manager in overseeing daily operations of the service department. This includes managing service advisors, enhancing customer satisfaction, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in dealership service operations.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with daily operations of the service drive and service advisor team.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
• Support service advisors in scheduling appointments, conducting write-ups, and handling customer concerns.
• Help maintain and track service department KPIs (CSI, RO count, ELR, etc.).
• Coordinate repair orders and ensure timely completion of vehicle services.
• Communicate with technicians, parts department, and warranty administrators to streamline processes.
• Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate when necessary.
• Provide coaching and training to service staff to improve performance and customer interaction.
• Assist in managing labor hours and productivity to achieve profitability goals.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, safety guidelines, and manufacturer standards.
