We need your talent! Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to joinourGlobal Software Engineering team.

Our team understands the value of their work in the real world. As a Senior Cloud Architect, you'll be working with technology used for quality testing and the development of nearly every drug taken in around the globe. These are processes that we want to optimize. Consider this, today's lab instruments can only be viewed from the lab - our mission here is to be able to enable scientists to see their lab results from Starbucks, home, anywhere you can access the internet.

We're looking for a passionate Senior Cloud Architectwith a talent for building quality software solutions. You will workin a fast-paced, agile environmentand engage in technical discussions, participate in technical designs, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and present and share ideas through global collaboration.

Responsibilities

The meaningful work you will be asked to lead :

• Create and document architectural designs following input from stakeholders
• Architect solutions that comply with industry-specific regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
• Act asarchitectural design authorityand enforceadherence to high level design andimplementation best practices
• Establish best practices for AWS architectures, security, andDevSecOps
• Codifyuse ofhexagonal architecture in development practice
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
• Drive adherence to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategy
• Socializethe architecture,trainteam members,andupdatestakeholderson keyarchitecture changes
• Act as a consultant to teams involved in implementing architectural designs
• Produceproofsofconcept inhigh-riskareas tode-riskarchitecture
• Resolve challengesincomplextechnical issues
• Seek out and provide guidance on improving engineering practices and technologies
• Mentor others onarchitectural concepts and infrastructure

Qualifications

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM major with equivalent experience
