Peds Anesthesiology Opening in Phoenix, AZ FQHC About the Opening :

• Full-time, permanent position
• Community based, University affiliated teaching facility, with ACS verified and State designated Level 1 Adult Trauma, Level 2 Pediatric Trauma, and ABA verified Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
• Clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR.
• TEE equipment is available to anesthesiologists for perioperative and critical care patients.
• About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year.
• Shared in-house call.
• Position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students.
• This teaching exposure creates opportunity for physicians to apply to university affiliations for academic appointment.
