Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

8hr M-F

• Ideal candidate to work every weekend for 8 hours. On call TBD

Safety / security measures in place? Locked facility

• Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults
• Responsible for rounding on inpatient unit and supervising a AP.

Needs to be able to see 20 patients a day.

• Units are designed in 20 beds. 2 adults and 1 Gero, Current ADC is 38 with plans to go to 44 in Dec. Patients are divided and can add tele if census increases.

Adult inpatient psych has 2 units totaling 37 beds divided between 2 physicians and 2-3 residents

• Required treatment disorders? All minus Developmental
• Must have familiarity with :

Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments

• Treatment techniques? All
• Support staff? APP
• EMR

• Must be avail starting 1st week of December

Emergency privileges available in under 2 weeks

• Clean background required in order to obtain emergency privileges
• Must have active CA License, CA DEA, BLS, TB Test
