Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (7P-7A)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,360 - $1,460

Floating : Yes, to other PCU and telemetry units

Electronic Medical Record : Meditech EMR

PCU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit nursing experience

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Ability to float to other PCU and telemetry units as needed

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit

Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform clinical treatments

Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and patient care technicians

Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR

Participate in unit procedures and adhere to hospital guidelines and policies
