Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, insures the monitoring of patient medication therapy. Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication administration. Pharmacy Services :

Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Training & Development :

Participate in orientation and training for pharmacists, technicians, residents, and students.

Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a School or College of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)

Current pharmacist license from applicable State Board of Pharmacy

Previous retail experience preferred but not required
