Guardian Angels Homecare has immediate PCA-Personal Care Assistant position available in North Haven 8am-1pm. Male caregivers are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate must be compassionate, reliable, a good communicator and experienced.
Responsibilities include:
Helping with bathing/personal care/grooming/dressing/undressing
Support clients who can't move on their own/turning/positioning/transferring
Monitor skin care/observation/treatment
Ensure client receives their medication on time/Cues
Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment/Making bed
Laundry
Meal Preparation/Planning according to client's restrictions/Feeding
Grocery shopping/Errands/Accompany to medical appointments
Socialization/Conversation/Emotional support
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year home care experience
Authorized to work in the United States
A valid driver's license and your own insured vehicle
Able to do housework and cooking
Hoyer lift experience is a plus
Well-organized and reliable
Excellent communication and people skills
Must be able to read and write in English
High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday 8am-1pm
