Mission
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production lines through scheduled and reactive maintenance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance activities on production lines according to the maintenance plan and direction from the Maintenance Team Leader.
- Conduct line setup and assist in production start-up phases; for electrical maintenance technicians, ensure proper setup of automated inspection systems.
- Record all maintenance tasks in the designated software or maintenance logs.
- Communicate shift activity, breakdowns, and machine performance via reports; highlight any safety, quality, or efficiency non-conformities.
- Support internal and external improvement initiatives, including collaboration with equipment suppliers.
- Identify and propose potential technical enhancements to boost efficiency, safety, or product quality.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Technical Maintenance.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure production continuity and equipment reliability.
- Promote and adhere to a “Safety First” culture, complying with all site safety regulations and requirements.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times in designated areas (e.g., safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection, gowning).
- Participate in mandatory safety and quality training, including internal QMS and IT systems (e.g., MS Office, Teams, LIMS, ERP).
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting.Familiar with maintenance software and systems, PLCs, and HMIs.
