Responsibilities

• Lead a team through all stages of electronics and electrical system design including architecture, requirements definition, board design, reliability, compliance, and production ramp.
• Provide technical leadership for the team and review schematics and layouts
• Create design checklists and ensure high quality PCBAs with minimal board revisions
• Bring a systematic approach to board bring up, failure analysis, and demonstrating reliability
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, test, and compliance leads to design top-quality hardware
• Own the BOM and drive cost-down design while ensuring supply chain resilience
• Run DFMEA to achieve compliant designs
• Conduct abuse testing for ensuring safe designs that can handle worst case system faults
