Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

Location : Dayton, OH 45409 (Ohio healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 22 / 2025 – End : 3 / 23 / 2026)

Clinical Setting : Level 3 Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 17 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

Call Requirements : 1 mandatory call shift per week and every 4th weekend (Sat 07 : 00 – Mon 07 : 00)

Employment Type : Travel healthcare assignment

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2750-$2820

CT / Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT / Rad Tech in a cardiac cath lab

Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Active Ohio Radiology Technologist license (state license required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience with EP (electrophysiology) lab and MacLab preferred

Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting system required

Experience with advanced cardiac procedures such as pacemaker / ICD insertions, ablations, TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip highly desirable

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

Perform advanced cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography procedures

Assist with electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantations

Deliver peri-procedural care and patient education

Support cardiologists and healthcare specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures

Maintain accurate records and clinical documentation for all procedures

Collaborate with the healthcare team in a high-volume, high-acuity environment (serving approximately 20 patients / day across 2 EP labs and 5 cath labs)

Participate in mandatory call rotation as scheduled
