Senior Financial Analyst
Inotiv is seeking a self-motivated, analytically minded Sr. Financial Analyst to support the Associate Finance Director for three Safety Assessment operational sites. This is a hybrid role based at the Fort Collins, CO office and will provide remote support to the other two sites. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience in accounting and / or finance and be able to travel on an as-needed basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Associate Finance Director to create financial annual operating plans for each fiscal year
- Support the Associate Finance Director to create forecasts for the operations, perform variance analysis, and provide bridges to explain variances and changes in forecast
- Responsible for tracking capital expenditures and collaborating with Site Directors and Facilities Leader to forecast CapEx cashflows
- Manage Construction in Progress account and serve as the liaison with Inotiv's Accounting team on asset capitalization and disposals
- Serve as on-site Finance point of contact for Fort Collins, CO site, and drive continuous process improvement in all aspects of the business
- Attend to government, SoX, and financial statement audits as applicable to each of the sites
- Support Safety Assessment leadership in Strategic Growth Initiatives with business case analysis and long-range planning targets
- Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to understand, summarize, and communicate financial information, including financial analysis, assumptions, and outcomesComfort with obtaining, reconciling, and analyzing data to be used for business decisionsProficient in utilizing Excel for data analysis and graphic depiction of business results, trends, and forecastsExperience in life sciences or a contract research organization is a plus, but not requiredInteract with clients, other employees, and the community in a professional mannerEffective organizational, written, and oral communication skillsAbility to adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and proceduresMaintain confidential informationSupport and participate in other company initiatives as directedAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishDemonstrate Inotiv Core Values and adhere to Code of ConductEducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years' experience in the fields of accounting and / or financeMasters in Business Administration preferred, but not requiredExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and D365 ERP accounting system is a mustProven ability to work cross-functionallyCertified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant preferred, but not requiredPhysical Activity and Working Conditions
Work is normally performed in a typical interior officeProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerThe noise level is usually moderateRequires moderate physical activity with frequent talking, standing, walking and repetitive movement of hands and fingers, reaching and lifting 10 -20 pounds.This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and / or years of experience. The salary range is $85,000 to $120,000 / year and will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and / or education level.
