Staff Engineer

Akkodis is seeking Staff Engineer for a Direct Hire job with a client in Grand Rapids MI 49512 (Hybrid) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Manufacturing industries.

Salary Range : $140,000 to $150,000; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This position has the following essential responsibilities :

• Ability to direct and influence the Systems Engineering Lifecycle for IMA products / technologies.
• May contribute to the development and verification plans in accordance with GE Aviation processes.
• Develop architecture and trade studies as needed to comply with customer requirements.
• Crosstrain and mentor other Systems Engineers in the systems engineering discipline.
• Drive and support engineering reuse within the IMA product line.

Solves engineering problems directly with the customer.
