Role Overview

As a Merchant Risk Analyst , you will assess financial risks related to credit , fraud , and identity associated with merchants. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to evaluate non-financial risks such as brand , reputational , legal , and compliance risks.

What You'll Do

Assess various risks and determine credit exposure on new and existing merchants to recommend appropriate actions.

Use business credit reports , investigative research tools , and financial market data to perform detailed risk assessments .

Monitor ongoing credit , fraud , and dispute / chargeback trends among merchants to identify anomalies or performance deviations.

Provide insights and recommendations to support automation and process improvements in merchant risk evaluation.

What We Look For

1 2 years of experience in assessing merchant risk within Merchant / Seller Risk Management , Fraud , or Merchant Underwriting functions.

Experience reviewing financial statements and / or payment processor statements .

Strong sense of accountability , ownership , urgency , and execution .

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
