The Assistant Field Coordinator in the College of Social Work assists with student field placements to ensure their successful completion of this portion of their education. Primary duties include scheduling meeting with students and field agencies, assisting with liaison activities and tracking student progress.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the placements of Social Work students; schedules meetings with students and field agencies; performs follow-up activities.
  • Teaches two sections of SWK 4188 AU24 and SP25
  • Assists with activities between student field practicum agencies and students; assists with coordinating virtual site visits, monitoring progress and the quality of the field practicum experience; utilizes the field database to update student progress during the academic year.
  • Attends meetings as required; performs other duties as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications

    Master's Level Degree with a Major in Social Work or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. Driver's license, vehicle, and ability to travel required.

    Desired Qualifications

    2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, desired. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and writing skills, planning, and organizational skills desired.

    Salary range is $20.02 - $26.33 per hour.
