Salary : Up to $140,000; merit-based bonus possible; annual merit-based raise
401kwith 3% match after the first year

Job Details :
Work schedule : Monday"Friday, 8 : 00 am " 4 : 30 pm; No weekends or on-call
Minimum 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in cardiology (inpatient and outpatient required)
RN experience does not qualify
Hospitalist experience may count if it includes significant cardiac care
No new PA or NP graduates accepted
Must be comfortable independently evaluating and treating cardiac patients
Average 15 inpatients per day
2 outpatients per hour, either solo or with a cardiologist
No on-the-job training available
Experience independently performing cardiac stress tests preferred (training available)
Expertise in EKG interpretation required
Critical care experience (as NP or RN) preferred
Active NJ RN & NP or PA licenses, plus CDS and NJ DEA
Proof of prior malpractice insurance (including gap and, if claims-made, tail coverage)
Willingness to complete hospital and insurance credentialing (hospital : 3 months, insurance : 6 months)
Start date dependent on completion of hospital credentialing and required application materials
Must be up-to-date on flu vaccine and PPD (required by all affiliated hospitals)
