Job Title : Director of Occupational Safety and Environmental Program

The salary range for this position is $100,100 - $190,500 annually, with an expected pay scale up to $162,012. Salary offers are based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and organizational needs.

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of EH&S, the Assistant Director develops, implements, and manages programs related to radiation / laser safety, hazardous waste, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, ergonomics, and environmental compliance.

The Radiation Safety Officer represents the UCR radiation safety program at campus, UC systemwide, and professional meetings. The role involves working with regulatory agencies on radiation safety matters, utilizing experience and leadership skills to ensure effective outcomes.

The position includes supervising and mentoring staff, maintaining knowledge of regulatory requirements across various safety and environmental programs, and actively participating in the development and improvement of EH&S systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
