Rigger (3rd Class) - Career Opportunity - San Diego, CA
As a Rigger, you will complete the setup and repair of rigging both in the shop and on site with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for aligning and anchoring machinery, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment, and ensuring that the rigging plan is safe prior to execution.

Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of previous shipyard, Rigging, or Navy experience.Ability to work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and at heights of 20 feet or more.Work Environment
Work will take place at various shipyards including NASSCO, BAE, the Naval Base, CMSD, and NBSD. The position follows a 1st shift schedule from 6 am to 2 : 30 pm, with flexibility required for overtime from Monday to Saturday. The environment includes exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and inclement weather, with duties performed in various conditions and settings.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00 / hr.
