Administrative / Clerical
Sets up exams, procedures and tests for patients; handles customer service inquiries. Ensures the smooth operation by obtaining accurate and complete patient and insurance information.
Responsibilities include :
- Delivering customer service by answering incoming phone calls to determine the appropriate exam / test / procedure and scheduling patient appropriately.
- Reviewing screening forms and obtaining / verifying patient and insurance information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensuring best customer service experience by properly educating the patient on the exam / test / procedure and answering related questions.
- Updating patient records, including any necessary notes for the technologist, customer, or future reference.
- Following specific protocols and keeping up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.
Required :
High School Diploma or GED.Preferred :
Prior scheduling experience.Two years of experience, preferably in health care.
