We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our friendly team. In this role, you’ll perform preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and support the dentist with clinical services. Compensation for this role is based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Review and update patient health and dental history

Perform oral health screenings, including periodontal charting and evaluation

Perform prophylaxis (cleaning), scaling, root planing, polishing, and maintenance as appropriate

Apply cavity-preventive agents like fluoride and sealants

Take X-rays

Monitor patient comfort during treatment and provide reassurance

Teach and counsel patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care

Accurately document all findings, treatment, and progress in patient charts

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

Manage supplies and assist in ordering as needed

Collaborate with dentists and staff to plan and optimize care

Assist in scheduling hygiene patients and optimizing daily workflow

Comply with all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications & Skills

Current, valid state license as a registered dental hygienist

Must have loupes

Proven ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team

A positive mindset and commitment to high-quality patient care

Passion for educating and motivating patients about oral health

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with dental software, charting systems, and digital imaging preferred

CPR certification (or ability to obtain)

Additional certifications (e.g. local anesthesia) a plus, where applicable by state law
