Manager, Supplier Quality Engineering

Supplier Quality Engineering Leader

We are seeking a leader of our Supplier Quality Engineering team. This person leads the team in their priorities, actions and performance to deliver improved supplier quality to our production sites. Moreover, this leader manages the performance of their team and successful integration of their team with other partners on site and supplier partners off site.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve Supplier Quality : Develop and implement a comprehensive improvement strategy with suppliers to reduce defects in purchase material.
• Manage Team Performance : Led team as a high performing organization that consistently improved on key performance indicators using VBS (Vontier Business System-Lean tools) as the backbone for a culture of improvement. Develop team in skills and ability both technical and leadership skills.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other internal teams to ensure alignment of effort, and corporation to meet operational needs and business objectives.
• Risk Management : Identify potential quality risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply including working with suppliers on quality and process development.
• Continuous Improvement : Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance transaction efficient, work and process management and moving quality error detection to be more proactive.
