Location : Wichita, KS (67214) – Kansas nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Start Date : January 19, 2026

End Date : April 20, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360 - $1460

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or Telemetry nursing

BLS certification required

Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Ability to work every other weekend

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient status

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, and recovery

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
