Job Overview

The COO Summer Analyst is an entry level employee who will work to achieve firmwide priorities in coordination with the Chief Operating Office team. The overall objective is to modernize and simplify the firm so it is an easier place for our colleagues to work and a better bank for clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs most basic, routine tasks / assignments
  • Works under direct supervision with detailed procedures
  • May service a very limited number of products / services
  • Applies knowledge of routine work area procedures
  • Completes standardized activities
  • Exchanges basic information with other co-workers
  • Resolves task related problems in straightforward situations
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications :

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience in : Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Accounting
  • GPA 3.3 and above
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Cooperation and focus in achieving group and client objectives
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Education :

  • Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree

    Your time here will look something like this We're committed to teaching you the ropes. The 10-week COO Summer Analyst Program starts in June and begins with a 1-week in-depth training program. While you're in the Summer Analyst role, you're eligible to participate in Citi's mentorship program, which will provide further training and guidance during and after the Program. Top performing Summer Analysts often return to Citi after graduation to work as Full Time Analysts.

    The COO is a critical and growing part of Citi. We focus on driving enterprise-wide transformation, strengthening controls and running central operations for our businesses. You will play an important role working together with more senior COO professionals and business / operations teams and participating in risk and controls focused projects or assignments.
