Job descriptionLicense : Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required Education : BSN degree preferred Certification : BLS / CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required Experience : Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience required The nurse will care for complex cardiac and vascular patient populations including post open heart surgery, mechanical supportive devices (i.e. ECMO, intra-aortic balloon pump, left ventricular assist devices, Impella), advanced heart failure, and vascular surgeries requiring critical care management Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience Career Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and Development Premium pay for eligible employees Various Medical, Dental, Pet and Vision options, including Domestic Partner Coverage Tuition Reimbursement Free Parking Wellness Program Savings Plan Health Savings Account Options Retirement Options with Company Match Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Community Involvement Opportunities
Hourly Pay Range :
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
