Emergency Medicine Physician

Locums Emergency Medicine Opportunity - New Ulm, Minnesota

Clinical Role : Start : January 2026

Contract : January - June 2026

Shifts : 12-hour shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a)

Schedule : 6-8 shifts per month (varies monthly)

Setting : Single-coverage ER in a community hospital / medical center

Hospital Size : 11 beds

Patient Volume : 15 per shift on average (can rise to 20-25 during busy season)

Patient Population : All ages

EMR : Epic

Support Staff Available :

Respiratory Therapy

Psychiatry

Tele-intensivist

Orthopedics

General Surgery

OB / GYN

CRNA

Occasional mid-level support

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certification - Required

Active Minnesota license - Required (local candidates only)

DEA & CSR (Minnesota) - Required

ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or CALS - Required

Prior community-site emergency medicine experience - Preferred
